Job summary

School Is Easy Tutoring is seeking elementary school tutors to visit students’ homes in New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. We are not hiring summer tutors; positions start for the busy school year in September.

You’ll assess needs, support homework and test preparation, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Independent contractor status and a competitive hourly rate of $21.00–$33.00 apply, with online work and flexible

Qualifications

• Experience tutoring elementary students preferred.
• Willingness to travel to students' homes in listed BC locations.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
• Excellent communication with students and parents required.

Responsibilities

• Assess student needs and develop a plan to help them succeed.
• Assist students with homework, projects, test preparation and assignments.
• Provide students with positive and constructive feedback.
• Offer progress updates to students' parents.
