School District No. 27 (Cariboo-Chilcotin) seeks a Full Time Continuing Elementary Counsellor to support students across Williams Lake area. Schedule to be finalized with the District Principal of Inclusive Education.

Requirements include a Master's in Counselling Psychology or related field, BC teaching certificate or eligibility, valid BC driver's license with vehicle, and ability to work independently. Relocation may be offered. The district is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or related field recognized for school counselling.
• Teaching certificate or BC certification eligibility with practicum/teaching experience.
• Driver's license and vehicle availability; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support students in various elementary schools in Williams Lake and area.
• Coordinate with the District Principal of Inclusive Education regarding scheduling.

Education

Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or related field

Professional teaching certificate or BC certification eligibility

Training in school counselling theory and techniques
