School District 42 invites applications for an Elementary School Counsellor on a 0.2 FTE temporary basis, effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows. The counsellor will work itinerantly across multiple schools to support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
Qualifications include a Master’s in counselling psychology and a BC Teaching Certificate with TQS, plus strong collaboration with staff, families, and community partners.
School District No. 42 (SD42) meets the learning needs of approximately 17,000 students of all ages in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows and is defined by its determination to keep student learning and growth at the heart of all its decisions.
