The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking a creative, dynamic Elementary School Office Assistant for Summerside Public School in Ottawa. This 50% part-time, 3-month term assignment runs 10 months a year.
Under the direction of the Elementary School Office Administrator, you will answer phones, manage records, assist with finances, and support staff, students, and the public. Hours are 17.5 per week, with schedule TBD. Salary $23.98-$29.52 per hour.

Under the direction of the Elementary School Office Administrator, the Elementary School Office Assistant assists staff, students, and the public; ensures the safety and well-being of students; supports the school office (answering phones, correspondence); maintains student and staff information (recording, monitoring, and tracking systems); assists with financial accounts; and performs other related duties to support the school office.
In accordance with the collective agreement, a newly hired regular employee is not eligible to accept another position (i.e. move positions) for a period of six (6) months.
