About the Role:

As anRF Technician, you will contribute to the testing and assembly of RF electronic systems for space-related applications. You’ll work under the guidance of senior technicians and engineering staff to carry out tasks involving developmental circuits, RF measurements, and environmental testing.

Work Location: Montreal, QC
Work Arrangement:Onsite
Duration:Permanent
Work Hours:40 hours/week | 8 hours/day

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and modify developmental electronic circuits and test benches.

  • Conduct RF unit tests including:

    • Interference measurements

    • Noise figure and gain

    • Amplifier compression and oscillation tests

  • Use RF tools such as:

    • Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs)

    • Spectrum Analyzers

    • RF power meters

  • Perform environmental testing (thermal and vacuum tests).

  • Record test and experimental results accurately.

  • Follow internal processes and health & safety guidelines.

  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Support other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in RF or electronics testing.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written French.

  • Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and team orientation.
