Job summary

Walmart Canada in Airdrie is seeking a Department Specialized Associate to drive sales in a highly specialized area of our business. You will rely on strong product knowledge and customer service to assist shoppers and guide them to suitable products.

Responsibilities include executing floor tasks, promotions, and product launches, with opportunities to train other teams as needed. The role starts at CAD 16.15 per hour, reflecting the minimum pay for this position.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Customer service is a priority – moments take precedence over task
• Assist customers with sale of goods including: provide product information. Answer product questions. Recommend products. Retrieve products from locked cabinets.
• Full completion of standard ‘floor’ associate type work, including but not limited to: Deep zone, CAP/VizPick Process, PinPoint process, Price changes, Feature to home, Zoning.
• Setting and completion of modular
• Promote – Charity events, Promote Walmart Mastercard, Promote Walmart Protection Plan, Promote OMNI extended aisle offering.
• Product Launches –in-store Product Launch of high complexity, training/advising other areas of the store as necessary.
