Job Description
The Electronics Specialist is responsible for maintaining electronic postal equipment, including troubleshooting, testing, repair, and monitoring of electronic and electromechanical systems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic and electro-mechanical postal equipment, including testing, diagnosis, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and repair.
  • Read schematics and wiring diagrams to locate malfunctions and failures.
  • Recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and investigate serious equipment failures.
  • Manage work orders, estimate time and materials, and ensure safety practices are followed.
  • Maintain documentation in the Computerized Maintenance Management system.
  • Use various tools, gauges, and test equipment for maintenance activities.
  • Support inventory management and participate in training programs.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a 2-year post-secondary program in electronics or related field; DEC in Quebec.
  • At least two years of recent experience in electronic systems maintenance or a relevant diploma.
Other Requirements
  • Must meet language requirements.
  • Understanding of electronic systems, mechanical principles, and safety practices.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging environments.
  • Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and diagnostic tools.
