Job summary

Element Technical Services Inc. seeks an Electronics / Instrumentation Technician (Journeyman or Apprentice) with 1–3 years in oil and gas. Role includes monthly PMs, software updates, and training of junior techs. Enjoy a signing bonus, fuel discounts, and RRSP/TFSA matching.

Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of the use of diagnostic software and how to use it.
• Proficient knowledge of hydraulic systems and their correct control settings.
• Can perform electro/hydraulic system troubleshooting.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Has a good understanding on basic equipment operation and theory.
• Basic understanding of troubleshooting and repair of greaser systems.
• Assist level 3 electronics technicians with major projects
• Is proficient in performing all monthly PM services with no guidance.
• Must have a good understanding of electro-hydraulics pump systems

ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES – ELECTRONICS / INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICAN (JORUNEYMAN OR APPRENTICE)

Summary of Position

Has 1 to 3 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Will be
required to do monthly PM services, software updates and training of lower-level
techs.
