Job summary

Aerotek in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-paced production team. You will assemble, test, and pack boards, using torque wrenches and screwdrivers, following diagrams and SOPs to ensure quality before final packaging.

This role may involve light SMT and hand soldering support, with inventory management responsibilities. Onsite, contract-to-hire, with a pay rate of CAD 19.50–24.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of production experience.
• Ability to read assembly documentation.
• Proficiency with hand tools and torque wrenches.
• Color vision for component identification.

Responsibilities

• Work at a designated station, primarily seated, using a computer to access assemblies and follow diagrams.
• Perform repetitive, detail-oriented assembly tasks meeting SOPs and quality standards.
• Assist in SMT, hand soldering, and testing as needed.
• Manage inventory as part of the production process.
