Job summary

Sonele, located in Markham, ON, is seeking an Assembly Technician to assemble electromechanical products in a clean ISO13485 and FDA-registered facility. You will read engineering drawings, complete production checklists, and work with team members to meet production and quality goals on a day shift.

The role emphasizes high workmanship quality, adherence to procedures, and capability to lift up to 30 lbs, with potential overtime depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school or post-secondary education in mechanics, hydraulics, and/or electrical, or related certification.
• 1-5 years in manufacturing/production environment; machine assembly, millwright or auto mechanic experience is a plus.
• Proficient with reading procedures, drawings, schematics or blueprints.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality workmanship in the assembly of electromechanical products.
• Read and work from established procedures and engineering drawings, schematics or blueprints.
• Complete checklists and production forms during the assembly process to ensure quality and completeness.
• Bolt, screw and fasten parts using hand and power tools.
• Work effectively in a team to achieve production and quality goals.
• Report problems or issues to Quality and Engineering.
• Maintenance duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate housekeeping and organization.
• Shipping/Receiving/Packaging.
