Yoplait Liberté Canada is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Electromechanic to join our team at the Saint-Hyacinthe plant. This position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule, from Thursday to Saturday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. While the role is primarily on night shifts, it includes flexibility and may involve shift changes to cover vacation periods or operational needs.

In addition to working in a dynamic and supportive environment, we offer a competitive salary of $38.40/hour, along with a full range of benefits.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as part of the Maintenance department’s programs
  • Maintain, repair, and optimize production equipment (packaging, process, wastewater treatment plant, and utilities)
  • Troubleshoot and perform reactive, corrective, and preventive maintenance on production systems
  • Contribute to design and process improvement initiatives within maintenance operations
  • Identify and resolve issues related to health & safety, quality, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards across all production equipment
  • Take part in 5S activities and help maintain a clean and organized maintenance department
  • Document work using the maintenance management system (Maximo)
  • Help manage and maintain the inventory of parts and supplies
  • Participate in daily meetings, shift handovers, and plant performance improvement groups (DDS)
  • Support all continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Profile Sought :
