Job summary

Groupe ADF inc. is seeking a maintenance professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on stationary and rolling equipment, including CNC, robotic and welding systems, as well as overhead cranes.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues while contributing to process improvements. The role requires French communication skills, crane operation ability, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• DEP in Electromechanics of automated systems or equivalent
• Plant experience in the steel industry (asset)
• Electricity certificate (CÉ / 1-ELECT) - Licence C (Asset)
• CSA B167-08 Overhead travelling cranes certification (Asset)
• Ability to operate an overhead crane (Asset)
• Good command of spoken and written French (Asset)
• Knowledge of blueprint reading: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, diesel, welding and machining
• Autonomous and analytical
• Results-oriented and professional
• Patient, meticulous and cooperative
• Able to work at heights (Asset)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on stationary and rolling equipment (CNC, robotic, conventional machines, overhead cranes, welding machines)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems
• Participate in process and equipment improvements
• Occasionally perform welding work
• Follow and optimize work instructions and manufacturer requirements
• Write reports to document maintenance interventions
• Provide information for parts orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Respect safety rules and procedures
• Other related tasks as needed

Contributing in this role means:

• Performing various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on stationary and rolling equipment such as CNC, robotic, conventional machines, overhead cranes and welding machines;

Desired professional profile :

• DEP in Electromechanics of automated systems or any other combination of relevant training/experience;
• Plant experience in the steel industry (asset);
• Certificate in electricity (CÉ / 1-ELECT) - Issued by Emploi-Québec (Licence C) (Asset);
• Certification to CSA B167-08 Overhead travelling cranes. (Asset);
• Ability to operate an overhead crane (Asset);
• Good command of spoken and written French;
• Knowledge of blueprint reading: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, diesel, welding and machining;
• Autonomous and analytical;
• Results-oriented and professional;
