Job summary

CHEP Canada Corp. in Boucherville, QC is seeking an electromechanic to provide service and support in the Pallet Service Centre, performing preventive maintenance and repairs in line with training, policies and regulations while upholding safety, security and productivity standards.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, day shift (7am-3pm), full-time, unionized, with competitive benefits including medical, vision, dental, paid breaks, lunch, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electromechanic DEP required and dual trade ticket is a strong asset.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics and basic electrical.
• Minor welding and fabrication skills.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support within the Pallet Service Centre including preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to training, policies, regulations and CHEP quality criteria.
• Maintain safety, security, productivity and quality standards.

About the Role

The electromechanic provides service and support within the Pallet Service Centre including but not limited to preventative maintenance and repairs within the scope of training, policy, and regulation; while meeting company standards for safety, security, and productivity while adhering to CHEP's quality criteria.

Compensation

$32.78/hr starting wage

Additional pay premium based on shift

Performance-based production incentives, paid monthly

What we need from you?

• Electromechanic DEP
• Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in an Industrial Maintenance role
• Experience in troubleshooting Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Basic Electrical knowledge
• Minor welding and fabrication skills
• Dual trade ticket with Electrical license (asset)
• Ability to safely operate power tools
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools
