YOUR ROLE As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be a key member of our Projects and After-Sales Service team, responsible for on-site installations, troubleshooting, and customer support. This role requires significant travel to customer locations across North America and beyond. RESPONSIBILITIES On-Site & Remote Technical Support

  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system malfunctions remotely and on-site.
  • Travel to customer sites (up to 80% of the time) to install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial baking equipment.
  • Conduct on-call service as required.
  • Ensure all service interventions are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Document service activities and ensure compliance with corrective action plans. Customer Relationship Management
  • Establish strong relationships with customers through professional communication and service.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers for optimal equipment use.
  • Identify upselling opportunities for MECATHERM products and services.
  • Represent MECATHERM’s brand and uphold our reputation for technical excellence. Internal Support & Process Improvement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives based on field insights.
  • Provide technical support to other MECATHERM technicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service quality and efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with automated industrial equipment is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-travel environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
