Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada is hiring for an onsite electro-mechanical maintenance professional to support a 24/7 production schedule. You will troubleshoot, repair, install and overhaul complex production equipment, including robots and CNC machines, reading schematics and PLC programs (Fanuc/Siemens).

The role requires a post-secondary program in a related field and 5+ years of experience. You will work in a collaboration-focused environment with strong safety and documentation practices, offering

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized post-secondary program in electro-mechanical, electronics or mechanical field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience performing electro/mechanical troubleshooting and repair in a production environment.
• Permanent resident or Canadian citizen with education verification and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and return-to-service of complex production equipment including robots, CNC mills, lathes and grinders.
• Perform new equipment installations and overhauls.
• Read and interpret complex schematic diagrams.
• Use test equipment to analyze maintenance issues on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs (Fanuc and Siemens preferred).
• Maintain and create documentation for production equipment.
• Follow safety policies and multi-task to support 24/7 operations.
