Job summary

Electrotek Concepts, Inc. - a Powerside Company is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler in Dorval, Québec. The role involves reading drawings, wiring, cabling, and mechanical assembly of capacitor components and related sub-assemblies.

The candidate should have a high school diploma (electrical assembly preferred) and at least 12 months of relevant experience, with strong tool proficiency and adherence to health and safety standards. 40 h/week, permanent, on-site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, electrical assembly diploma preferred.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience.
• Proficient with wiring tools.
• Proficient with hand tools including drills and mechanical presses.
• Ability to work well with others and participate in problem solving.
• Requires precise manual skill and physical effort.
• Familiarity with precision standards and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, schematics and electromechanical assembly diagrams.
• Crimp wires and cables of various dimensions using contacts, lugs and splices.
• Install cables, wiring harnesses and sub-assemblies per markers, diagrams and cabinet drawings.
• Assemble mechanical components of capacitors and reactors from drawings and design.
• Perform manual or mechanical braiding as required by work order.
• Assemble, adjust and install parts on capacitor banks.
• Modify or adjust complex electromechanical parts.
