Job summary

CDN Controls ULC in St. Thomas, Ontario is hiring Electricians at all levels to join a project-based team. Roles include Apprentice 1-4, Journeyperson, Foreperson.

Pre-employment D&A test required; daily travel to site is expected. Compensation ranges from $39.10 to $55.86 per hour, depending on trade level and experience. You will adhere to safety policies, install and maintain EMT/PVC piping, solar components, MCCs, and control systems, read drawings and electrical codes, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Indentured Apprentice Levels 1-4 and Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician required.
• Foreperson level preferred.
• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
• First Aid Level C - CPR & AED, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, CSO, and CSTS.
• Oil and Gas industry experience in construction or maintenance is an asset.
• Ability to travel to site daily.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Complete cutting, threading, bending, and assembling rigid, aluminum and conduit systems.
• Install and maintain EMT and PVC piping systems, batteries, solar panels, voltage regulators, MCC equipment, heat trace, and VFDs.
• Interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications for installation and troubleshooting.
• Understand and apply the Canadian electrical code rules where applicable.
• Understand and execute circuit fundamentals, three-phase systems and PLC applications.
• Test electrical equipment for current, voltage and OHMS.
• Handle administrative, material ordering, and QAQC documents.
• Other duties as required.
