Total Wage Package : $62.54 - $66.50 per hour

Base Rate: $48.37 - $51.87 per hour

Vacation Pay: 13%

Pension/RRSP: $4.96/hour (directed to PSRT Account)

Medical Insurance/Benefits: $2.93/hour (directed to PSBT Account)

Board Allowance

  • Less than 480 km from residence: $175/day (4 days/week) 175/day x 4 days
  • More than 480 km from residence: $175/day (6 days/week) 175/day x 7 days

We are currently recruiting 309A Certified Electricians for Commercial and Industrial Electrical projects in Quebec.

Dispatch Registration Date / Lay Off Date Protection

Members dispatched to this project will retain their current dispatch (layoff) registration date, provided they complete the job duration period. Early self-termination will result in loss of this registration date.

Work Scope

General Industrial Work (cabling, conduit, tray pulling and installing instruments, etc)

ASP Training

All members must complete a 4 Day In-Person Training Session in Quebec (no virtual option)

Duration: 4 Days

Cost of the Training Course: Covered by CUSW/Employer

Compensation for Training: Hourly wages, travel, and board will be covered during the training (as listed in this posting below)

Certification from this course is a requirement for this call and future FIPOE-related work opportunities in Quebec.

Members who complete this course will be prioritized for future FIPOE related work opportunities in Quebec.

Members must successfully complete all four days of training in order to be eligible for board and travel coverage.

Must provide Driver's License and Copy of CofQ.

Completion of Paperwork to be Eligible to work in Quebec.

Travel arrangements and accommodations are the responsibility of the member; compensation will be provided as outlined above.
