Prysmian Group is currently recruiting for a licensed Electrician to support our growing maintenance team business. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential. This position requires flexible working hours and rotating shifts.
Compensation
- Increasing after probation

Qualifications & Responsibilities
- MUST BE a licensed electrician (309A or 442A)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a production/industrial environment with extensive machine troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read, program, and troubleshoot industrial PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Ability to install, commission, and troubleshoot AC and DC motor drive systems (Parker and ABB preferred)
- Experience diagnosing faults in electrical/electronic systems and repairing or replacing components
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cables, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
- Demonstrates safety and quality-conscious approach; works well in a team environment
- Tests electrical and electronic equipment for proper function
- May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
- Collaborates with Electrical/Engineering team on electrical projects
- Maintains and improves preventive/predictive maintenance systems
- Plans installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
- Measures, cuts, threads, bends, assembles, and installs conduits and raceways
- Splices and terminates electrical conductors
- Possesses good verbal communication skills and can follow instructions
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Requires frequent walking, standing, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to do shift work
