Job summary

Bird Nason Contracting Group is seeking local Apprentices and Journeyperson Electricians for work at our project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB; Benefits and RRSP provided as per collective agreement.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe practices, pulling cable, groundwork in trenches, wiring, conduit installation, and heat tracing maintenance. Valid Journeyperson/Apprentice certificate and safety training required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyperson Certificate or Apprentice Certificate.
  • CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space.
  • Extensive knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Experience on major industrial project sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be organized, self-driven, and able to understand and execute oral and written instructions.

  • Support Grounding work
  • Pulling Cable
  • Groundwork in trenches
  • Install new wire from existing panels to new and existing equipment on site.
  • Install conduit for regular service and explosion proof applications
