About the Role

Teck is seeking an experienced Electrician Journeyperson to join our team at Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes. This position is based in Trail, BC, in the scenic West Kootenay region, offering outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, fishing, and hiking. Candidates must reside within 100KM of Trail; relocation assistance may be available, but there is no company housing.

Responsibilities
  • Lead safety initiatives and adhere to safety and environmental regulations
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial electrical systems
Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial maintenance and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems preferred
  • Professional, diligent, capable of working independently and in teams, with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license
