AFIMAC Canada is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a Southwest Ontario assignment. You will work 10-12 hour shifts, 4 days per week when on project, with meals and travel accommodations as part of the package.

Compensation includes $75 per hour before overtime, $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required, paid travel up to 4 hours, and hotel/flight provisions as needed. Strong PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid 442A certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge and experience with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Fluent command of English (written and verbal).

Responsabilités

• Provide troubleshooting for expedient repair of plant equipment and facilities.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs including fans, pumps and aux systems.
• Read electrical codes, materials properties and equipment specs as required.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams and controls components.
• Read and follow electrical schematics, diagrams and engineering specs.
• Demonstrate PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; run power lines per safety codes.

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Industrial Electricians for an upcoming assignment in Southwest Ontario.

This position will require you to work 10-12 hour shifts, 4 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn:

• $75 per hour before overtime
• $30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
• Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
• Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
• Flight Provided (when required)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide troubleshooting skills for the expedient repair of all plant equipment and facilities.
• Building maintenance and repairs including fans, pumps, aux. systems
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of electronic equipment as required.
• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of relay logic, ladder diagrams & controls components.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics as well as follow diagrams, sketches, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications.
• Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting/programming
• Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
• Ability to run power lines to production or service equipment according to tables and safety codes.

Skills & Qualifications:
