GDI Ainsworth in Moncton, NB seeks an Electrician Foreman for a full-time role. Based on site, you will lead teams and manage wiring layouts, testing, and maintenance across commercial installations. You will ensure safety, scheduling, and quality workmanship while coordinating with project teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical knowledge of electrical systems, and a commitment to reliable service delivery on diversified projects in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chargehand on commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction environments (tight access, active buildings, coordination challenges).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications.
• Experience with Fire Alarms is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
• Lead teams on site to achieve company objectives.
• Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors.
• Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment.
• Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels.
• Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits.
• Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components.
• Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signaling devices and heating and cooling systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Job Summary:
