Job description

We are currently seeking Electricians for our various remote Canadian project locations!

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical components
  2. Testing circuits and connections using electrical test equipment
  3. Inspecting equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and repairs are completed, while adhering to timelines and budget restrictions
  4. Responsible for ordering electrical parts
  5. Preparation and site clean-up, including rubbish removal
  6. Proficient with building code regulations as it relates to worksite building electrical assembly and repairs
  7. Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation as per process / protocol to ensure cost effectiveness and budget allocation
  8. Provide quality workmanship consistent with industry standards and stakeholder expectations
  9. Understand the basics of reading and interpreting blueprints
  10. Participate in daily Toolbox meetings and support monthly work-site inspections
  11. Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures
  12. Notify Manager of unsafe practices and unsafe environment
  13. Report all incidents and accidents immediately
  14. Actively participate as a high performing, team member

Required Knowledge & Experience

  1. Minimum of three (3) years working as a construction field electrician in a camp environment
  2. Certified Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal) required.
  3. Solid verbal and written communication skills in English
  4. Ability to work a rotation schedule.
  5. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  6. Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  7. Able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor
  8. Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 - 12 hour shift

Salary Range

$450-$500/day depending on skills and experience.
