Electrician / Electrical Technician with Automation Experience

Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician (309A or 442A) or Electrical Technician with hands-on experience in automation systems and control panel assembly . This role will start on an as-needed basis and may develop into a full-time position based on workload and performance.

Responsibilities :

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels at customer sites in the KW area.
• Perform machine wiring at customer sites in the KW area.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and customer specifications.
• Maintain organized, clean, and professional panel work.
• Collaborate within a team of multi-trade machine building clients and partners.

Qualifications :

• 309A Construction & Maintenance or 442A Industrial Electrician license, OR
• Post-secondary education in Electrical Technology or Automation, or as an Electrical Technician.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation and / or control panel fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• MUST prioritize safety above all else.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites in the KW area as required.
• Valid G-class driver’s license and own transportation preferred.

Job Type :

• Part-time / Casual to start.
• Opportunity to grow into a full-time position.

Pay :

• Competitive based on experience.
