Role Overview
Spark Power Apprentices assist Journeymen and other team members, gradually increasing their skills and responsibilities based on their abilities.
Responsibilities
- Visualize, measure, and estimate work methods suitable for each task.
- Determine when additional materials are needed.
- Label wires, conduits, and equipment to ensure safety.
- Choose optimal routing options for conduits and wiring.
- Support and mentor fellow Apprentices.
- Attend meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions.
- Maintain tools, devices, and vehicle readiness.
- Load and organize materials and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy of work orders.
- Perform field installations and maintenance.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Registered Electrical Apprentice at minimum Level 1.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional electrical work.
- Proactive, hardworking, team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Reliable with a commitment to quality.
- Electrical knowledge is an asset.
- Positive attitude with career growth ambitions.
- Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to safety standards.
