Jardeg is recruiting an Electrician Apprentice to join the Integrated Constructors Inc team at the Cenovus Birch Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Conklin, Alberta. The role involves rehabilitation projects on storage facilities, including condition assessments, repairs, upgrades, and various improvement activities.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining power distribution, repairing pumps and motors, programming PLCs, and ensuring SCADA systems operate reliably.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Commitment to safety training and certifications.

Jardeg is currently recruiting an Electrician Apprenticeto join the Integrated Constructors Inc team at theCenovus Birch Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, Conklin Alberta.

The work scope includes, but is not limited to, executing rehabilitation projects for existing storage facilities, encompassing condition assessments, repairs, upgrades, and other improvement activities.

***Travel allowance $300 per shift rotation***

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain power distribution systems
• Repair pumps, motors, and control equipment
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
• Work with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) for motor control
• Maintain SCADA systems and instrumentation
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
• Read electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Fix broken wires, swap out damaged fixtures, and perform routine tune-ups to stop system failures
• CSTS 2020 with WHMIS
• H2S Alive
• ESC Confine space
• ESC Fall protection
• Electrical Journeyperson or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
