Job description

PTW is hiring local 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentices and Journeypersons to join our team in Dawson Creek, BC. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

Job Details

1. Shift: 5/2
2. Working Hours: Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
3. Overtime: Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
4. Travel Pay: Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area
5. Apprentices: Support provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours

Requirements

1. Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience.
2. Must be an indentured electrical Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson.
3. Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
4. Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. A demonstrated ability to work safely.
7. Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive).
8. A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
9. Must be authorized to work in Canada.
10. Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate.
