Electrician 12-Hours Continental Night Shift

Join Baxter Healthcare Corporation as an Electrician on our 12-hour Continental Night Shift (18:30-06:30). We are seeking a dedicated professional with at least 3 years of experience, holding a valid Ontario Industrial Electrician license (442A), and proficient in PLC troubleshooting. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, including Radio Frequency generators, and collaborating on machinery repairs.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
  2. Manage breakdown calls to ensure continuous operation.
  3. Design electrical services for machinery support.
  4. Perform maintenance on RF generators.
  5. Collaborate with mechanics on repairs.
  6. Use PLC knowledge for troubleshooting.
  7. Install and document electrical services.
  8. Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience (including apprenticeship hours).
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Industrial Electrician license (442A).
  • PLC troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications include a post-secondary degree in Engineering or Science, manufacturing experience in GMP environments, and experience with RF welding processes. The role offers a starting wage of $44/hour, with a $4/hour shift premium, and an additional sign-on bonus of $5000.
