Job description

J. Wolfe Electric is hiring

Due to continued growth and demand, we are looking to add another Full-time or Part-time Licensed Electrician, as well as experienced helpers.

J. Wolfe Electric is a small business located in Gray, Maine. We service areas from the NH border to Augusta. Our team comprises electricians with a broad spectrum of knowledge, including residential, commercial, data, security, video surveillance, access control, and HVAC controls. We work with builders one day to wire houses, and the next day may be working on a surveillance system or pulling 1200 amp feeders from the utility pole to the building.

The ideal candidate should possess a valid Maine Electrician's License. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, interested in a mix of residential and commercial projects. Helper electricians should have at least 1 year of experience and relevant schooling.

Must have reliable transportation and own hand tools. Company vehicle provided after 60 days for licensed electricians.

Candidate should be a self-starter and motivated, as most of the time will involve setting up a job and leaving it to run independently for a day or several days.

Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

Pay will be determined based on experience, with scales between $35-$45/hr.
