Job description

Join one of Canada’s leading food manufacturers with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and employee development. We’re hiring a Maintenance Electrician in Regin a to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and automation systems while supporting smooth production operations. You’ll use our asset management system to complete preventative and corrective maintenance in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll get as a Maintenance Electrician :

  • 44.15 / hour for ticketed trades plus a $2.00 / hour premium for night shifts (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.), with typical shifts from 11 : 30 p.m.–8 a.m. or 3 : 30 p.m.–12 a.m.
  • Includes 3 weeks of vacation, 5 sick days, and a potential signing bonus!
  • Quarterly performance bonus of up to 5%, annual tool allowance, $170 boot allowance, and prescription safety glasses if required.

What you’ll do as a Maintenance Electrician :

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide installations and repairs.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain motors, control logic, sensors, pneumatic systems, and electrical components (120V–600V).
  • Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal imagers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, while maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Conduct basic PLC troubleshooting, assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools, and complete other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring as a Maintenance Electrician :

  • Must hold a Red Seal Certification or equivalent nationally recognized Electrical Trade Ticket.
  • 3 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, ideally within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and skilled in using diagnostic tools.
  • Familiar with preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Basic proficiency in computer programs such as Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a team-focused mindset and willingness to work weekends or night shifts as required.
