Job summary

Marwood International is a Tier 1 automotive OEM supplier based in Ingersoll, Ontario. We are seeking an experienced Electrician to support electrical wiring, PLC programming, and maintenance across our manufacturing lines.

The role involves preventative maintenance, panel wiring, PLC/robot programming, and ensuring safety and quality in a high-demand plant. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold Grade 12 or equivalent
• Must have a valid Electrician license
• Minimum 2+ years in Tier I automotive manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Wire new panels for machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed.
• Program and revise new and existing machinery.
• Report work performed and time spent to Maintenance Group Leader.
• Complete maintenance work requests and CIFs as required.
• Program PLCs and robots.
• Select, install and repair bussways, conduits, cables.
• Read and revise ladder logic and related drawings.
• Install and maintain lighting and emergency systems.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Hourly Rate: $46.00 + Shift Premiums

Shift: Rotating Mon - Thurs (6a - 4p & 4p - 2a)

• Read, interpret and revise ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment and instrumentation drawings
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot high-intensity discharge, fluorescent and incandescent lighting, measure and report illumination levels and install and maintain emergency lighting systems
• All other relevant duties

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
• Recognized Electrician License
• 2+ years related experience in Tier I Automotive manufacturing
