As a red seal-certified electrician you will be responsible for the electrical wiring duties to assist in the assembly of automated packaging equipment.

Are you excited about this work?

• Use electrical schematics and closely follow Engineering specifications and/or verbal instructions to understand wiring requirements.
• Install electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and electrical panels.
• Mount and connect motors, transformers, generators, and other electrical equipment.
• Efficiently utilize all wiring equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ensures adherence to customer specifications as set forth by the PM.
• Ensure that the work area is clean, safe, and orderly by following 5S standards.
• Take proper care of their tools and make sure they are returned to their proper locations daily.
• Participate in the equipment testing and the FAT process.
• Follow and adhere to quality, assembly, and safety standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies through training and professional development.
• Perform electrical building maintenance as required.
• Recommend and implement upgrades or improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist with mechanical sub-assembly as needed.

Travel:

• May be required to assist with on-site support (travel within North America).
