Position: Electricians – Journeyman, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Apprentices

We are looking for skilled Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices to join our expanding team. Our work focuses on new construction projects, maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems compliant with current codes and customer specifications. We prioritize safety, efficiency, and maintaining client equipment in optimal condition.

Responsibilities include:

• Cutting, threading, bending, assembling, and installing conduits and other electrical enclosures and fittings
• Pulling wire and cable, installing distribution and control equipment, data cabling, fiber optics, and signaling systems
• Working in various environmental conditions, including outdoors in all weather
• Installing fixtures and devices for industrial applications
• Applying mechanical skills and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair systems safely and efficiently

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate of Qualification as a registered Electrical Apprentice in Nova Scotia (www.nsapprenticeship.ca)
• Minimum of 2 years of trade experience, including apprenticeship
• Knowledge of Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and relevant legislation
• Experience with Building Automation Controls and Fire Alarm systems
• Experience in Class 1 Division 1 environments
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver’s License
