Job summary

Magna Exteriors is hiring an Industrial Electrician in Ontario. The role focuses on automated system maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and adherence to safety standards within paint and assembly equipment.

Requires 5+ years in the field, a valid provincial ticket (442A/309D), and PLC/robotics/HMI knowledge. You will work on electrical installations, schematics, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring apprentices and maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Immediate open position
• $40.90 - $48.20 per hour
• Must have Provincial Electricians Ticket (442A or 309D)
• Grade 12 English and Math or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Must have knowledge of PLC, robotic, and HMI programming and controls
• Proven experience performing electrical/electronic troubleshooting of equipment
• Must be capable of interpreting and designing electrical schematics
• Must have proven ability and experience completing electrical installation work including: control wiring, conduit, power wiring and motor control
• Demonstrated skill in technical documentation
• Proven experience with continuous improvement
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, follow up, and root cause equipment failures
• Experience with Fanuc and/or ABB Robotics is an asset
• Experience with plastics and/or paint processes is an asset
• Must be computer literate with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Must be results and team oriented
• Must consider and prioritize safety in all duties

Responsibilities
