Our Riverway location is currently seeking a Licensed Electrician/Instrumentation Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical, instrumentation, PLC, power/control, and automation systems throughout the facility.

Term: 1-year contract

Hourly Rate: $42.98

Schedule: Fixed rotating shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including:

  • 5 days on, 4 days off
  • 5 days on, 5 days off
  • 4 days on, 5 days off

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial batteries, hydraulic, HVAC, and pneumatic control systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems
  • Install and replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, and lighting
  • Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes for installations
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain records using CMMS
  • Maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
  • Capable of medium to heavy lifting

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • Certified Industrial Electrician or Instrumentation Technician (apprentices welcome)
  • 3+ years of experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and control systems
  • Skilled in PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • Familiar with SAP and Windows OS
  • Adherence to GMP standards
  • Ability to work independently under pressure
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
