Job summary

Randstad Canada is recruiting a Warehouse Associate for a Simcoe, Ontario distribution facility. You will pick, pack, and ship electrical supplies to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety on the warehouse floor.

The role offers a full‑time day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with competitive pay and on‑site operations. Reliable transportation is required due to no public bus route to the location.

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of electrical contractor supplies (wire, cable, lighting, distribution, tools, automation).
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse inventory management systems.
Excellent attention to detail for picking complex part numbers and verifying counts.
Customer service mindset with effective communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately pick, pack, stage, and prepare electrical supplies for orders.
Receive shipments, verify stock, and record inventory movements.
Handle, store, and organize inventory including wires, lighting, distribution equipment and tools.
Operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely.
Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse floor and safe stock locations.
Assist customers at the order counter when contractors arrive.
Conduct cycle counts and routine stock audits.
