BBA Consultants is seeking an Electrical Technologist in Prince George, BC, to perform maintenance and commissioning on electrical instrumentation, protect/control systems, and oversee projects at client facilities. The successful candidate will prepare service offers, draft test programs, and contribute to engineering projects with safety and quality as core principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of protection and control systems.
• Experience in maintenance of high voltage apparatus.
• Ability to manage business relations and ensure quality of professional services.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance activities on protection and control systems.
• Complete maintenance activities on high voltage apparatus.
• Be in charge of business relations and the quality of professional services.
• Prepare service offers and draft commissioning reports.
• Conduct pre-operational verifications and commission electrical instrumentation and apparatus.
• Monitor worksite projects at client facilities.
• Draft technical documents, calculation notes and estimates.
• Apply established work methods and ensure their improvement.
