Job Title: Electrical Technician III Location: Medicine Hat, AB
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Possible Extension)
Start Date: Mid-July 2025

About the Role: We're looking for a Red Seal Certified Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Medicine Hat as an Electrical Technician III. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and commissioning various types of electrical and instrumentation equipment across our pipeline systems.

This is a field-based, safety-sensitive role that requires a strong commitment to safety, integrity, teamwork, and high performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including:
  
  
  • Motors, MCCs, medium voltage switchgear
    
    
  • Instrumentation equipment and communication networks
    
    
• Perform inspections, repairs, and installations as needed
  
  
• Follow all company policies and procedures (O&M standards)
  
  
• Coordinate with supervisors, planners, and other technicians to plan and execute work
  
  
• Use work management software for logging and documenting maintenance
  
  
• Maintain clean, secure, and safe facility environments
  
  
• Execute one-call requests, locate lines, and manage crossing reports
  
  

What You Bring:

• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification (required)
  
  
• 4+ years of industrial electrical experience
  
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Valid driver's license (driver's abstract check required)
  
  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug, and background screening
  
  
• Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding environments
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with High Voltage systems (4160V to 138kV)
  
  
• Familiarity with SCADA systems
