Weyerhaeuser Company is seeking a full time Electrical Technician at our Grande Prairie, AB Sawmill. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a team environment within a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic.

Key Functions:

• Execute emergency response and on-shift troubleshooting

• Perform preventative maintenance and system repairs

• Implement process improvement projects

• Maintain electrical systems and equipment

• Document maintenance activities and technical reports

• Valid Journeyman Electrical Ticket

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Proven industrial maintenance experience

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities

• PLC and control systems knowledge

• SAP system proficiency (training provided)

• Exceptional safety awareness and compliance

• Strong technical problem-solving abilities

• Effective team collaboration

• Adaptability to changing priorities

• Ability to perform the essential job functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, and bending.
