We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team.

Location: Montreal, QC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Electrical Ground Support Equipment for advanced telecommunication satellites at both bus and spacecraft integration stages.
2. Review test plans and test system requirements, assess feasibility and propose efficient implementation.
3. Equipment selection and technical oversight of key suppliers.
4. Integration of electrical equipment from multiple suppliers into a coherent test set for platform and spacecraft level tests.
5. Electrical System implementation, commissioning and maintenance.
6. Design of Test harnesses, system protections and overall interconnects.
7. Production of relevant documentation.
8. Operationalize equipment for high volume production.
9. Participate in cross-functional teams.
10. May need to supervise testing activities.

Basic Qualifications

1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Strong hands-on experience in test station design and implementation for electronics in one of the following fields: digital, analog, power or RF electronics.
3. Experience in debugging and testing electronic systems.
4. Extensive experience with lab testing equipment, network analyzers, calibration, antennas, etc.
5. Knowledge of communication protocols such as CANbus, SpaceWire, SPI serial link, CCSDS.
