Job summary

A Mississauga based electrical contractor seeks an experienced electrical service coordinator/manager to oversee a team of 40+ staff. The role demands managing client relations, ensuring productivity, and maintaining high operational performance within the service division. Suitable candidates should have a strong electrical background, proficient interpersonal skills, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience running a service department, preferably with an electrical contractor.
  • Familiarity with IBEW union.
  • Proven experience managing a department of 40 people or more.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relations and ensure productivity on sites.
  • Responsible for maintaining Annual Sales Quota and budget adherence.
  • Provide support to Service Supervisor and guidance to Service Techs.

Job description

A Mississauga based electrical contractor is currently looking to add a dedicated electrical service coordinator / manager to their team! This department has a mix of over 40 staff and requires someone that has proven experience managing at this level. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and improve operational performance of this service division with the support of the team.

Required Qualifications:

-Electrical trade background (a must)

-Run department of 40 people + at a min.

-Must be familiar with IBEW union

-5 yrs experience running service department. (Preferably with electrical contractor)

-Accubid experience

-Experience with CMMS systems (computerized maintenance management system)

-Demonstrated previous organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Responsibilities and duties may include:

- Manage client relations

- Responsible for maintaining Annual Sales Quota

- Manage jobs from award to completion

- Manage job documents

- Ensure productivity on sites

- Ensure H&S rules are followed

- Ensure projects are executed within budget

- Manage site issues

- Provide support to Service Supervisor and Service Coordinator

- Provide guidance to Service Tech’s

- Create and present Sales Quotations to clients
