Fantastic long-term opportunity for a Project Manager with an electrical Engineering background to join a busy and growing team in Calgary.

Agilus is recruiting for a Electrical Engineering Project Manager in the Energy Industry in Calgary, Alberta. Develop partnerships with external engineering firms, cultivating a reliable network of pre-qualified vendors to augment internal capabilities and scale project execution. This includes evaluating, selecting, and managing these partners based on performance, expertise, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage external engineering partnerships, encompassing project design and procurement, execution (including HSE compliance), and continuous planning/improvement, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements.
2. Mentor a small internal team of Engineers/technical specialists, contributing any relevant experience.
3. Provide technical support for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
4. Support business development activities as needed.

Requirements:

1. Ideal candidate would have an engineering background, and significant and varied project execution experience.
2. Ideally experience in the Utilities industry or O&G.
3. Either in an Engineering management role now or on the cusp of doing so.
