Job description

Our Calgary-based client is seeking skilled Panel Assemblers for a full-time opportunity with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. Responsibilities:
  1. Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical and mechanical components.
  2. Operate and maintain switchgear equipment.
  3. Follow the design, regulatory codes, and best practices to ensure compliance.
  4. Verify that materials meet specifications before installation.
  5. Communicate quality concerns with supervisors promptly.
  6. Keep your workspace organized and tidy.
  7. Assist with testing, inspections, and documentation as required.

Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in electrical assembly and wiring, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  2. Post-secondary education in electrical work is beneficial.
  3. Comfortable with hand and power tools.
  4. Experience in wiring and soldering is an advantage.
  5. High attention to detail.
  6. Strong English communication skills.
  7. A team-oriented individual who works effectively with various departments and clients.

About the position:
  1. Full-time hours, on a 4-day schedule, 10-hour shifts on a day shift.
  2. On-site parking.
