Job summary
Summer Fresh Salads in Woodbridge, Canada, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician – Electrical to join our production team. The role covers installation, testing, calibration and preventive maintenance of electrical systems across packaging and processing lines.
Ideal candidates have a Licensed Industrial Electrician credential, at least 3 years of related experience and strong knowledge of building systems in a food manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
- Professional Certifications – Licensed Industrial Electrician with PLC/Industrial Automation knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years’ related experience in electrical maintenance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook) required.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and food manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read manuals, diagrams and blueprints to support maintenance procedures.
- Plan installations from sketches and specifications; install electrical devices.
- Diagnose faults and replace components; ensure proper function of systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs during production.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain clean work areas.
