Prince Rupert Grain Ltd. opened in 1985 and built a terminal to improve Canada’s ability to export grain and oilseeds. We now offer the best route for Canadian grain bound for Asian and mid-east markets, with an annual export capacity of over 6.25 million tonnes.

Our state-of-the-art terminal cleans grain as fast as it can be unloaded from rail cars, in excess of 13 cars per hour. With eight shipping bins and three tower-mounted loading spouts, we are able to load up to 4,000 tonnes of wheat or barley per hour.

About the Opportunity

We currently have two exciting opportunities available for anElectrical Maintenance Supervisor and a MillwrightMaintenance Supervisorto join our team inPrince Rupert, BCon afull-timebasis.

The successful candidates will ensure the safe and efficient utilization of manpower and equipment while performing maintenance and emergency repairs. These roles are responsible for overseeing key areas of our terminal’s maintenance program, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, coordinating preventive maintenance, and supporting the performance and development of their teams.

To qualify for theElectrical Maintenance Supervisorposition, you must be aRed Seal Journeyman Electrician with TQ and IP tickets,and have at least5years of related industrial and supervisory experience.Experience with ControlLogix is required, while familiarity with other Allen-Bradley PLCs is preferred. An Electrical Contractor certificate would be a strong asset. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of troubleshooting experience, a superior technical background, and excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.

To qualify for theMillwright Maintenance Supervisorposition, you must hold aMillwright TQ and Red Seal IP ticket,along with a high school diploma and a minimum of5 years of experiencein an industrial environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as those with prior supervisory or leadership experience. A strong mechanical troubleshooting background and the ability to work effectively in an industrial maintenance setting are essential.

Please note that some rotating weekend shift work is required. You will also be required to complete pre-employment medical testing, and possessing a valid driver's license is a must.
