Electrical Maintenance Supervisor | Southampton | Office Based | £40-43K + Employment Package

Due to contract expansion, we are actively recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor based at the company head office in Southampton. The employer is a privately owned, hard services, commercial FM provider with approximately 200 staff members. As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will work closely with a team of in-house Maintenance Electricians, providing technical support, overseeing remedial works, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards, and liaising with clients.

• Base Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum
• Status: Permanent, PAYE
• Location: Southampton, full-time office based
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30am - 5:00pm
• Additional earnings available through the call-out rota, escalations only via telephone
• Pool vehicle available for travel/client meetings
• Casual dress code in the offices
• Holiday: 30 days (including 22 days + bank holidays)

Duties:

• Supervising remedial works following client approvals
• Overseeing directly employed field electricians
• Managing day-to-day workload to meet contractual SLAs & KPIs
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and authorizing minor works certification
• Developing relationships with client key account and area managers
• Providing technical support and training to junior staff
• Attending client meetings as instructed by the Divisional Senior Manager, with access to a company pool vehicle

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrician to standards such as NVQ Level 3, C&G 236 Part 2, C&G 2330 Level 3, or equivalent
• Up-to-date with electrical regulations (C&G 18th edition)
• Strong knowledge of compliance, health and safety, SLAs, KPIs, and related paperwork in a commercial maintenance setting
• Desired but not essential: City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
• Full UK driving license with under 9 points
• Previous supervisory, lead engineer, or management experience with similar duties is preferred
