Job Description

Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £26p.h - £30p.h

Our client is a leading Facilities Management Group, looking for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in a critical environment across several sites in the Southampton & Portsmouth Regions.

Contract Duration: 3 – 6 month Contract with immediate start – opportunity to go permanent.

Duties:

1. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive and servicing on all electrical plant and equipment
2. Fault-finding, servicing & repair work
3. Emergency Lighting
4. Lamping
5. Maintain up-to-date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment
6. Ensure that detailed maintenance records are kept
7. Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment
8. Ensure compliance with all company's policies and procedures

Qualifications:

1. Must have worked in a similar environment
2. City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent Electrical Installations
3. 18th Edition
4. 2391/4/5 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous
5. ECS Card
6. Basic Hand Tools

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 37.50 hours per week. OR 4 day week option available.

If you have a current CRB/DBS certificate, this will be hugely advantageous.
