Out of Town Industrial Project in Grand Cache, AB

10 days on 4 days off

Required to drive to and from Edmonton, AB

The role follows a rotation schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off, with 10-hour workdays from 7 : 00am to 5 : 00pm. The contract extends until November, with opportunities for earlier start dates. Employees work 80 regular hours and 20 overtime hours during the rotation. The work involves expanding the operating water treatment plant, where conditions are manageable and the smell is not overwhelming.

Job Description

This role involves overseeing the completion of electrical projects with a focus on pulling cable / wire, running conduit, minor tray work, terminating, testing, and commissioning work. The majority of the prep work, such as the underground duct bank installation, is already completed.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead electrical teams in construction and industrial settings.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems including pulling wire, conduit bending, and minor tray work.
  • Ensure proper termination, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • 3+ years of experience in a lead hand or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in conduit bending and pulling wire.
  • CSTS certification.
  • Experience in industrial or light industrial environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in waste water treatment plants.
  • Fall Protection Ticket.
  • AWP / EWP Ticket.
  • PLC experience, ideally with Rockwell product line.
