This position is located at our Red Lake Project in North Ontario with a potential start in early February. This employment opportunity is long term extending 8 plus months.

Key Information :

• Must have at least 5 years in a superintendent role or equivalent experience.
• Must have at least 5 years experience in an industrial facilities setting.
• Must have at least 10 years of Civil Construction experience.
• Must be able to plan, schedule, and direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned.
• Hourly / Salary rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description :

• Plan, schedule, and direct crews within the budget and timeline assigned.
• Provide leadership and training to General Foreman, Foreman, and other field staff.
• Work with the Safety Advisors to ensure the work is performed safely.
• Plan the construction function to establish an effective organization.
• Direct the overall construction program of the project.
• Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity on site.
• LOA is provided.
• Compensation for various parts of travel to and from Red Lake.

Experience and Certifications :

• A minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role or equivalent experience required.
• At least 5 years experience in an industrial facilities setting required.
• Equipment Operator experience or other field experience is an asset.
• Must have Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certificate, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level II and Leadership for Safety Excellence.
• Travel is required - a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.
• Software is heavily used within the organization processes; the candidate must have strong computer skills and have a history of working within software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel) and Proprietary Software.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education : Trade Certificate or Diploma or Degree in either CWB Welding, Iron Worker / Steel Erector, or Carpentry.
